23 year old Freddy is an Anglo-Swedish racing driver based in London and Weybridge, UK. With ambitions to compete at the highest levels of Touring Car Racing he made his debut in a T-Car at age 14, won the Mini Cooper S Class Championship at the tender age of 17 and has since become a race winner at the wheel of the SEAT Cupra R, podium finisher in the SEAT Leon, UK, a contender of the Spanish SEAT Leon Supercopa and finished in 3rd place in the Avon Tyres British GT Championship GT4 class in 2011.

Freddy confirms Euro Racecar NASCAR Tourng Series for 2012
After two successful tests in the Euro Racecar NASCAR Touring Series in February, Freddy Nordström can now confirm he will be joining the series in 2012.
Following talks with different teams Freddy has decided to join the already established Team Orhés. Despite being new to the series Freddy has been able to familiarise himself with the car in recent weeks, and is ready to make an impression.

Freddy claims British GT award
After his first full season in endurance motor racing, Freddy has recently been able to claim his prize. After finishing the season joint on points with second place and classified third overall in the Avon Tyres British GT Championship GT4 Class Freddy has recently collected his prestigious trophy (left).

Freddy enjoys return to Porsche Carrera Cup
Just one week after he concluded his inaugural season in endurance racing, Freddy Nordström has enjoyed a successful return to the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Championship.
Held at the infamous Silverstone circuit last weekend (15th-16th October) the season finale of the prestigious championship saw Freddy contest the Pro-AM 1 category. Armed with his GT Marques run Porsche machine Freddy set out a number of goals ahead of the weekend, which he was pleased to achieve.

Freddy third as championship concludes
As the final race of the 2011 season came and went, racing ace Freddy Nordström is now reflecting on his inaugural season in the Avon Tyres British GT Championship.
Silverstone played host to the final adventure of the season, and after an eventful year, Freddy and team-mate Leyton Clarke were on the verge of providing their GT4 Class Lotus Sport UK team with championship honours. As they headed into the final round the pair were second in class, with an opportunity to steal the title; however as the season finale unfolded they were baulked by drama.

Challenging weekend sees title fight go down to final round
An eventful weekend at Donington Park in Leicestershire saw Freddy Nordström extend his 2011 Avon Tyres British GT title bid towards the final round of the year.
As the longest race of his career beckoned, Freddy and his Lotus Sport UK team were well prepared. The weekend of 24th-25th September was set to display the penultimate round of the 2011 championship, as Freddy and team-mate Leyton Clarke continued their strong scoring form.

Second place and fastest lap for Freddy at Rockingham
As the weather tried its best to intervene at the Rockingham Motor Speedway last weekend (3rd-4th September), Freddy Nordström scored more points towards his Avon Tyres British GT Championship GT4 title goal.
A dry start to the weekend saw the team use Saturday’s practice sessions to iron out any issues. Having not driven the car since the last round at Spa Francorchamps in July, Freddy and the team were eager to return to their successful ways.

Promotional day for Freddy at Hethel
In the run down towards his return to the Avon Tyres British GT Championship, Freddy recently enjoyed a day at Hethel, the Lotus test track, for promotional purposes.
Teamed with Leo and Greg Mansell, sons of the 1992 Formula One World Champion Nigel, Freddy enjoyed a stint behind the wheel of the Lotus Evora, as film and photography crews recorded the event.

Freddy battles his way into Porsche Carrera Cup GB
Regular Avon Tyres British GT racer Freddy Nordström made his debut in something new this weekend, as he switched his Lotus Evora for a Porsche Carrera Cup machine.
A summer break from his Lotus Sport UK commitments presented the youngster with the opportunity to contest the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Championship on the new Snetterton 300 circuit this weekend (6-7th August). Joining the GT Marques outfit for the weekend, Freddy battled through an eventful outing for what was his first racing experience in the impressive car.

Freddy Battles illness and drama at Spa
The weekend of 8th-9th July saw the fourth round of the Avon Tyres British GT Championship lead Freddy Nordström to Belgium to race on the historic Spa Francorchamps circuit.
A weekend troubled with illness and car issues lay ahead of Freddy, as he and his Lotus Sport UK team-mate Leyton Clarke attempted to enhance their championship charge. However, despite his woes, Freddy rose to the challenge of Spa.

Freddy strengthens championship with another podium
On a weekend controlled by the weather, Freddy Nordström once again made his presence known in the Avon Tyres British GT Championship with another podium finish.
A tense start to the weekend saw Freddy and team-mate Leyton Clarke take to the Brands Hatch track after a five week break. As the qualifying session arrived on Saturday the pace of their Lotus Sport UK run Lotus Evora was threatened, when a fuel-to-car connection problem arose.

As another race
weekend came and went, Freddy Nordström again tasted the celebratory champagne with another podium place finish. Snetterton, Norfolk, was the scene of the action, with a thrilling two hour endurance race set to entertain the crowds.

Freddy gets behind the wheel of Lotus Evora GT4
After recently signing to race with Lotus Sport UK as part of their British GT4 programme, Freddy finally got his hands on the Lotus Evora race car yesterday. A testing programme at the official Lotus test track, Hethel in Norfolk allowed Freddy to sample what he will be racing at Oulton Park in just over one weeks time.

Freddy joins Lotus Sport UK for British GT4 assault
Anglo-Swedish racing driver Freddy Nordstrom is set to make his return to racing in the UK in 2011, as he prepares to do battle with the Avon Tyres British GT field.
After months of speculation as to what the youngster will be driving this coming season, Freddy will join forces with the ever expanding Lotus Sport UK brand to contest the GT4 Class in their new Lotus Evora car.

Porsche Carrera Cup Test
Having recently tested a Mosler, Freddy's track experience is gradually developing more and more. Tuesday 22nd March saw the Porsche Carrera Cup GB fraternity head to Snetterton for the pre-season media/test day, which Freddy was a part of.
Still looking at various options for the 2011 season, the youngtser was able to test the Parr Motorsport Porsche Carrera Cup car, which proved to be a successful outing.

Driver Coaching
Freddy spent the day at Bruntingthorpe recently, with his driver coach Rob Wilson. It was another useful day for Freddy, as he expands on his track knowledge and experience. "I would like to thank Rob for his continued help over the last eight years, it's been a great experience working with him," said Freddy.

With the start of the season in sight it's the time of year when racing drivers get a bit twitchy, eager to get back behind the wheel. For Freddy this feeling was not an unusual one. Formula Ford Test
With the 2011 
season still a working progress for Freddy, he was able to enjoy some track time at Silverstone last Friday (11th February). A general test day set the scene as Freddy got behind the wheel of the Advent Motorsport Formula Ford for only his second single seater experience.

Autosport Show 2011
The Autosport International Show kicked another year last weekend (13-16th January), as everyone looks to cement their 2011 plans. Freddy enjoyed a number of meetings over the weekend, with this coming season holding the attention. His plans for 2011 will be announced as soon as everything is complete.

I seem to have misplaced most of the year, can't believe Christmas is upon us once again. T
his year has flown by, but despite the problems we had it ended pretty well. I would just like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and thank you very much for your continued support! Top 10 not a prob
lem for Freddy
With the penultimate round of the Spanish SEAT Leon Supercopa now done and dusted, a strong result has given Freddy Nordstrom the confidence to play his part in the finale.
Arriving at the infamous Jerez circuit last weekend (16-17th October) to a sweltering 25-30˚C heat, a challenge lay ahead of the youngster, as he strived to continue his good form for the penultimate three races.

Triple success for Freddy at Navarra
After a summer break from racing, Freddy Nordström got back behind the wheel of his SEAT Leon Supercopa last weekend (25-26th September), as the series enjoyed its inaugural event at the new Navarra circuit, Spain.
A successful outing at Brands Hatch last time out left Freddy with the confidence to succeed at Navarra, as he stormed his way to a trio of strong results.

Battle of the Brands ends in chaos
A welcome return to racing in the UK for Freddy Nordström was disrupted at Brands Hatch last weekend, when drama struck in both races.
After making the switch to the SEAT Eurocup Championship for the UK round last weekend (16-18th July), Freddy was keen to demonstrate his skills on a circuit he knows well. Arriving at the circuit Thursday evening to find a revamped SEAT Leon awaiting him kicked started the weekend how he wanted to, whilst his faith in the car was restored during the first on track action on Friday.

Freddy comes back to Brands
SEAT motor racing ace, Freddy Nordström, will return to racing in the UK this coming weekend (16-18th July), as he temporarily switches to the SEAT Eurocup Championship.
With three rounds of the 2010 Spanish SEAT Supercopa already done and dusted, Freddy has decided to echo his 2009 exploits by making a one-race swap to the British round of the Eurocup series. With a return to Brands Hatch Freddy is set to demonstrate his skills in front of a top crowd.

Third time lucky for Freddy
Another weekend in Spain saw Freddy's 2010 SEAT Supercopa assault take shape, as his campaign finally got started in the right way at Portimao last weekend (3/4th July).
After two rounds of bad luck Freddy at last got to enjoy three race finishes, having completed a trio of outings at the Algarve-based circuit.

The weekend of 5/6th June saw Freddy Nordstrom make his return to the Jarama circuit, near Madrid, for round two of the Spanish SEAT Supercopa Championship. After difficulties at the first round in Valencia haltered his progress, Freddy was eager to kick off his season properly at Jarama.

Friday 9th April saw Freddy, the Advent Motorsport team and his new team mate, Boris Miljevic, set up camp at Brands Hatch for a pre-season test. At the wheel of his new distinctive blue SEAT Leon Supercopa machine, Freddy enjoyed a successful test, getting some beneficial track time.

Packed Weekend At Brands - Eurocup & Podiums!
It was a packed weekend of racing action for Freddy as he took part in the British round of the Eurocup at Brands Hatch, in support of the World Touring Car Championship. His first time in the Eurocup series, Freddy was impressive in his pace and took strong 5th and 6th positions.
It was also a weekend of podiums as Freddy took the last minute opportunity to drive in the Fiat Abarth series. Freddy took two 2nd places in the double header event, just behind experienced BTCC driver Adam Jones.
