Surrey Motorsports Star Freddy Nordstrom to Compete In The 2008 SEAT Cupra Cup

Freddy Nordstrom of Weybridge returns to the track this month as he begins his 2008 SEAT Cupra Cup campaign. The 19 year old rising star of motorsport will be contesting the series in a brand new SEAT Leon with backing from PlumberTraining.com. The series, a proven route for drivers to enter the prestigious British Touring Car series, kicks off its 10 round season at Brands Hatch on 29-30 March.

Freddy, who finished 4th in the R Class in the 2007 SEAT Cupra Cup, was a regular pacesetter last year taking three wins in his debut year and finishing half his races on the podium. He is eager to add further silverware this year with the overall prize for the Champion being a fully supported British Touring Car race there really is everything to race for.

Freddy will once more be run by the Advent Motorsport who helped steer him to the Mini S Class Championship title in 2006. Support from PlumberTraining.com, previous winners of the Surrey Business Awards 'Innovation In Business' title, is warmly welcomed with both parties looking forward to a dynamic and exciting year of racing ahead. Freddy is currently undertaking testing in readiness for the new season.
